  Visually 5 stars and then some. Cons, not really a dog friendly place. Dogs are not allowed on the main trail. And only on leash at the viewing area. You are not allowed to leave your dog in car either (makes sense). There was one trail where dogs are allowed, but it has no views of the falls. I drove from Sacramento to see the falls. A man and his best friend on a road trip. Lucky for me I am a state park pass holder. Otherwise it would have been 8$ for a 15 min looky loo. We did get some amazing pics. Check the photos. I would like to come back with my family and stay a while and really check out the rest of the river and lake.
